Ring Leader Tidbits
~ We started our 12 Days of Christmas, and I hope everyone is enjoying all the fun "surprises" each day! We will continue this each day until we get out next Friday!! Hang in there...the countdown is on!!
~ Shout out to Tammie and Kathleen for completing the 13 WEEKS of the first Parent University! They came EVERY Thursday for 13 weeks in order for our parents to have this opportunity. We have 7 parents who will participate in the graduation this week at Northbrook! We appreciate all of Tammie and Kathleen's hard work to make this program a huge success!!
~ The elk has been hidden! Once you find it, make sure to take a selfie and email the whole staff! You need to re-hide it at the END of the day. The next person to find it will repeat the process! No cheating!! Let's make this fun AND challenging. Be creative with the hiding spots. The prizes are $10 cash AND a jeans pass! Once you send the picture (as proof), you can come to the office to claim your prize! Happy searching!! Thanks to Sunshine Committee for providing the cash prizes!!
~ Thanks for everyone's flexibility last week at our Holiday Feast! It went really well, and I had a lot of parents/families comment that they had a great time!
~ Next Friday, during parties, we may have parents want to take their kids early. Laura/Christine will be making forms that you will have in your room. PLEASE have the parents fill these out IN THE ROOMS, and the parents will need to give the form to Laura/Christine in the office when they leave. If you do not know if the people are on the "list," do not allow them to fill out the form. They will need to go through the regular process in the office, where we check Skyward, etc.
School Bulletin
~ There are still several teachers who have not turned in their Elk of the Month form, and the grade level frames are missing several forms. Please get those turned into Lilly by the end of today (Tuesday). Those were due last week. Thanks!!
~ Please make sure and notify parents of the time change for the holiday parties. Parties will start at 10:00 am. Make sure to remember that you cannot compete with lunch, so we cannot order pizza, etc.
~ Don't forget to hang your stockings and fill them with warm fuzzies, treats, notes, etc. This is always a fun gift to get to "open" as we leave for the holidays!
~ Please take a few minutes to complete the employee engagement survey! We really do use the survey to guide any tweaks/changes we need to make and also any celebrations that we want to applaud!
~ Next Wednesday, the 19th, I want to have a staff meeting in the library. This will be a holiday activity that I think you will all enjoy! I know this isn't our normal meeting day, but I really hope everyone is able to attend. This will be for all paras/professionals! Thanks!
