Parent Feedback Survey
Parents can access the survey here: https://surveys.panoramaed.com/parkhill
The access code is: 1235647845
The survey window for families is open until May 14. We appreciate your time to take this survey as this is valuable data for our planning purposes.
Online Verification & Residency for the 21-22 school year is now open!
Every year, all Park Hill families are required to visit the Campus Parent portal to verify student demographic, health, and emergency contact information, and submit proof of residency documents for the upcoming school year Please check your mailbox – we recently mailed a letter and “Getting Started” guide so you can jump right in and get this process completed. You can access a digital copy of the guide on our website.
Note: Only a legal guardian living with a current student in their household can prove residency and complete verification for that student.
Highlighting our Pack Point Winners
At Tiffany Ridge, we use PACK Points to celebrate students who are meeting our four core expectations- Be A Problem Solver, Act Resonsibly, Care for Everyone, Keep Safe. When staff see students doing these things, they are reinforced with verbal reinforcement and a "Pack Point".
Classroom teachers also have Pack Point Menus for students to select rewards of their choice in their classroom.
Respect and Empathy for Others
There has been a lot of focus recently on ‘soft skills’ in the workplace. These are the social-emotional skills used to interact and get along with others. We teach many of these skills to our children through ‘modeling’. Modeling is not purposely ‘taught’ but rather picked up as they notice how we interact and treat others day to day. Other times we correct our children when we see they are treating someone poorly and those lessons are very purposely taught. We can have a greater impact on their social-emotional growth when we gently guide and correct by asking some of the following questions.
- How do you want someone to treat you when you…(do or act in the same way the other person was)?
- How do you think he/she felt when you did or said that to you?
- If you could do it again, what would you do differently?
- How can you fix this situation or make it better?
Giving students the opportunity to work through these questions helps them not only grow in empathy for others, but also helps them see how their actions impact others. Asking these questions about characters in TV shows or movies can also help foster social-emotional growth!
FREE MEALS
The program that allows us to provide free meals to our students and to children throughout our community is going to continue through the summer and the 2021-2022 school year. This is not just for families who are in need – everyone may feel welcome to access this resource for their children.
Free Meals During the Summer:
- For summer school students:
We will serve free breakfast and lunch to summer school students each day. They will not be eligible for the frozen pick-up meal kits during the summer school session (on the June 9, June 16 and June 23 pick-up dates), but they may order them for the May 26 and June 2 pick-up dates, before summer school begins. - For students not in summer school:
Families may order five-day frozen bulk meal kits for all children in the Park Hill area who are not in our summer school, beginning with the Wednesday, May 26 pick-up date. Our order form, with pick-up instructions, is on our website. Please order a week in advance and no later than the Tuesday before your pick-up date.
Free Meals During the 2021-2022 School Year:
- For in-person students:
Throughout the 2021-2022 school year, we will provide free breakfast and lunch to our in-person students each day. - For Park Hill Online Academy students and area children:
Students in our area who do not attend our schools in person will be able to order our five-day frozen bulk meal kits.
