Do you need help to quality assure your subject outlines? These workshops are here to assist you.

6 February 2019, FW Quality Assurance and Reflection (QUASAR) Moderation and Grades. 1pm, Faculty of Arts and Education.

This workshop will introduce you to the Moderation and Grades form in the Quality Assurance and Reflection (QUASAR) system. You will undertake the processes of moderation with worked examples for each role and stage.


6 February 2019, FW Quality Assurance and Reflection (QUASAR) School Assessment Committe. 2pm, Faculty of Arts and Education.

This workshop will continue from the workshop on QUASAR: Moderation and Grades. You will learn the workflow that the school assessment committee will use to process the moderation and grades forms. In particular, how to document any comments and how to use the Grade Readiness Report.

Practical help to assist you with Interact2 Subject Site Analytics reports!

27 Feb 2019, Forty-Five Minute Zone: The Sound of Silence. 1pm. Faculty of Arts and Education and Faculty of Science.

The silent online subject site… or is it really that? Using student activity data, the silence of a site actually becomes quite ‘noisy’. This 45 minute hands-on session is totally practical – and will take you through the suite of Site Analytics reports within Interact2 that are able to help you gain some insight into students’ online engagement and progress.

Are you new to CSU? Come along to one of our Staff Induction Sessions!

Would like some assistance with finding your way around the systems? Do you have some questions about good learning and teaching practice? Come along to an Induction session where we will show you how to navigate around the CSU website, use the tools in your Interact2 site, ensure you are prepared for the upcoming teaching session, and provide you with resources to support you throughout the session.

You will need a headset and computer to access the Adobe Connect room. If you do not have these, please speak with your supervisor/manager.

Easy strategies to improve student literacy and numeracy skills!

19 February 2019, Library embedded program. 11.30 am, Everyone Welcome.

This session is about finding practical ways to improve student's research and evaluation skills. You will also learn about the aims of the embedded program with subjects across the faculties.

Need some ideas on how to integrate the GLO's? Help is at hand!

12 February 2019, Digital Literacy - introducing student and staff resources. 11.30 pm, Everyone Welcome.

This 30 minute presentation will showcase two new resources. One is aimed at leading students through what it means to be digitally literate in the world today, the other has some practical strategies and ideas for embedding the Digital Literacies GLO within your subjects and courses.


14 February 2019, Integrating the Information & Research Literacies Graduate Learning Outcome. 11.30 am, Everyone Welcome.

Come along to this 30 minute session to find out about the Information and Research Literacy GLO, including best practice in assessment design for research literacies.
