Who, What, When, Where, Why's of the event.
Shortly after noon on November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated as he rode in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas. By the fall of 1963, President John F. Kennedy and his political advisers were preparing for the next presidential campaign.
Perspective #1
Six seconds in Dallas 50 years ago changed the way media worked for decades to come. The assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, was a transformative live, global TV news event. It swept an industry without a playbook for covering a breaking story of such magnitude and utterly changed how people receive their news. For four days, starting with gunfire in Dallas and ending with Kennedy's funeral procession in Washington, major U.S. TV networks went live with wall-to-wall coverage, suspending commercials.Other live TV news events followed, and the next time networks devoted as much time to commercial-free news broadcasts came with the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.
Perspective #2
Their has been a lot of rumors and theory going all over the world who assassinated JFK. A big rumor from the U.S. is that the Soviet Union planned to assassinate JFK. Another rumor is that some unknown mafia was hired by somebody to assassinate JFK. Many people believe the Cubans were on a high spy/hit-man mission to take out JFK and also had collaboration from the Soviet Union since the Cold War. The biggest Rumor of em all is the CIA. A lot of people believe the government hired the CIA to take out the president because of JFK's orders.
Media Bias
In this article The bias shown was bias by source control. It only i agree with the author that the film of the assassination was rigged. In the article the author stated "the program failed to fully examine acoustic evidence that suggests four shots were fired that day, because doing so might have derailed the show’s conclusion, that Lee Harvey Oswald was probably the only gunman." That put me in a lot of thinking because the film was slowed in frames and could of cut out the rest of the film. In the article stated JFK had a missed and instead hit the person beside him and the driver then JFK. so my statement is either there were multiple men responsible or the shooter shot multiple times because everyone thinks one bullet was shot. - http://www.philly.com/philly/news/Novas_JFK_show_rigged_and_biased_author_says.html
Criticism #1
The critics are doing two things. They are rejecting many pieces of evidence. This rejection then forces them to paint a monstrous conspiracy and cover-up. The table below examines the conspiracy that stares us in the face. The list, while incomplete, attempts to delineate the conspiracy to kill Kennedy. Has there ever been such a conspiracy in history? This is marxist because they are strong and the head of the government.
Criticism #2
The critics of the Warren Commission claim there was a conspiracy to assassinate President Kennedy. If we assume they are correct, then exactly how big was the conspiracy to kill JFK? Are we talking about one assassin with an accomplice or are we talking about something larger? If one were to believe the current literature, we are faced with not just "something larger" but a monster conspiracy that consists of several assassins, several accomplices, and the destruction and forgery of vital evidence. The critics have constructed a conspiracy so massive that it ultimately falls of its own weight. The article is using Historical Criticism.
