Grade 2, Tuesday April 14
Plants, Animals, and Their Interactions (Ecosystems)
Our BIG Question: How do plants and animals depend on each other?
Morning Message
Dear Animal Experts,
Camouflage can be thought of as a color or shape in an animal’s body covering that helps it blend into its environment. Most animals have developed camouflage that helps them find food and avoid predators. Predators can also use camouflage to hide when stalking prey.
Try your hand at camouflage! Take a piece of paper and cut out your favorite insect or small animal. Color your animal to camouflage somewhere in your home. See how long it takes for your family to spot your camouflaged animal. If you are interested in learning even more, watch this fun video all about camouflage!
Happy Hiding!
