Dear FMS Families,

Happy Weekend!

It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of the first quarter! Although there have been roadblocks and detours, it is great that we have been able to stay in school for the first quarter. I know many of you have dealt with or are dealing with illness or quarantine. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need any support or have questions. Although we are starting to find a routine, we are still learning and trying to find the best ways to support all.

Fall Family Conferences-see information below. Next week, I will share our school goals for the year as well as ways we will work to give ongoing feedback on academic progress via Parent Portal. (and provide support for you on how to access this information)

Please don't hesitate to reach out anytime with questions or concerns. Have a great weekend!

Free Flu Shots Available at School!

Fulton Public Schools is working in conjunction with the Callaway County Health Department to provide flu shot "clinics" at school.

            Who will give the shots?

The FPS Director of Health Services and another nurse from FPS will give the shots in each school.

When will the shots be given?

The date will be scheduled sometime around the beginning of November.

            Who is eligible?

All students are eligible for shots--insured, uninsured, and those on Medicaid.

Do students need money the day they get their shot?

Kids won't be charged, but it will process through insurance if they have it. This means if families have private insurance, the insurance will pay for it and then the family will receive an EOB from insurance.

Oops! I forgot my permission form. Can I still get the shot?

Students CANNOT get a shot without the permission form which is due back Wednesday, October 21st.

More information and the permission form can be found at
