Patrick Marsh Middle School Band

This Week In Band at PMMS (June 1-4, 2021)

Happy Memorial Day

To all of those who have served and continue to serve our country - thank you! Traditionally our middle school band marches in the Memorial Day Parade on Main Street, Sun Prairie. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we could not participate this year. We look forward to participating in the parade again next year and honoring our veterans.

Reminder To Turn In School Instruments

We still have a few school instruments that have not been turned in. Please send these back to school with your child tomorrow so that we can do inventory, clean, and reassign the instruments. Thank you!

Thank You For Attending The Spring Band Concert

Many thanks for attending the Spring Band Concert and staring directly into the sun! We lucked out with amazing weather! We are very proud of the effort your young musicians displayed having put that program together in only a few weeks! Feel free to share the video below with family and friends.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

The Madison Scouts Drum Corps is holding their home show in the Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium on Saturday, July 31 at 7:00 PM. The Scouts have allowed our band parents the opportunity to sell concessions for this event. This is a HUGE deal as the show will sell out fast and has the potential to bring in some much-needed income for the upcoming 50th season of the Sound of Sun Prairie Marching Band. We need parent/guardian volunteers to serve as ushers and to work in the concession stand. Please fill out the form below if you are interested and available. Mr. Gleason will be there and will help "train you in" on any job that you select. It will be fun and a GREAT way to help support the band program. Please fill out the form below if you are interested/available. Thank you!

92 Students Have Already Signed Up!

All 7th grade band musicians are invited to participate in a free fall marching band experience. The Sound of Sun Prairie Marching Band will rehearse Aug 16-20 from 5-9 pm at the high school. Students will learn the fundamentals of marching and rehearse a few easy tunes. These rehearsals will culminate with a performance at the first home football game in the new Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium on August 27th.
