OPES WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
January 20, 2022
Tomorrow, Friday January 20th is E-Learning!
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory this week from Friday morning into Saturday morning. As a result, Lexington-Richland School District Five will transition to an e-learning day on Friday, January 21, 2022.
Teachers will post assignments to Google Classroom or Seesaw accounts by 10:00 am Friday morning for asynchronous learning. Asynchronous learning involves students completing assignments independently at their own pace throughout the day. Teachers will continue to support students during asynchronous learning by providing feedback, responding to questions, and reviewing assignments when in-person learning resumes. FIVE will have a normal day. Time will be allowed for students who may lose power to complete assignments.
