Week of January 11th-15th, 2016
Your child has already completed the January assessment/progress monitoring in Istation (reading) and the results will come home with the report card next week. This report will give you an overall understanding of where your child is in reading. It gives a percentile rank for overall reading, vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, and text fluency. This report is for you to keep. You do not need to return it with the signed report card.
Last, I am attaching a parent survey that I would greatly appreciate if you could take the time to complete. It will take about 5 minutes to do so. This feedback will be used to make adjustments to instructional practices that I hope will positively impact your child's learning.

Please remember that when your child is absent you must send in a note explaining the absence (or a dr.'s note) for it to be considered excused.
