A Word From Mrs. White

This week we are expecting some really cold weather and potentially snow and ice. Please please please write names inside of those coats and other items. We always return items from the lost and found when names are written inside.

Valentine Parties are coming! Our district has still not relaxed the visitor's policy so we will handle it all ourselves with the PTO's help. We will still make it a great time! Students WILL be able to bring valentines to exchange this year. One of their favorite things to do at the party is to look through all of their valentines! Your teacher will let you know if you need to send a box or if they are providing a bag for each student's valentines. They are all doing it a little differently.

We had a great PTO meeting last week as well as slushee and popcorn day! We are already looking at our calendar to schedule a color run for the spring! We will need lots and lots of volunteers to make that happen for our students. So please consider volunteering for that.

In closing we are seeing our students work so hard and reach their goals! When they reach an academic goal they get to pick out a beanie baby from the trophy case. It is really exciting! We are running low and have a limited variety. Please ask neighbors, post on facebook, next door app etc and ask for beanie donations on our behalf. They are really making a difference!

Thank you, Amazon!

Amazon is opening a brick and mortar store in Classon curve soon.

To celebrate the upcoming opening, Amazon donated reading packs to each of our 1st grade classrooms!

The manager of the new store is the father of a former (but always) Dolphin!

Keep an eye out for the grade opening!
