K - 1 Conferences and Preschool Screening
Preschool Screening with Prairie View Special Services that was scheduled for March 26 is postponed at this time. It may be rescheduled for a later date.
Book Fair
Academic Work - Bo Peep
Kindergarten: Mrs. K is sending out an invitation to her Facebook group as well as there is a review packet available for pick up.
Title 1: If your Title 1 student has been using a computer-based intervention program with Mrs. Lisa Fritz, they will have access to that program at home. If you need that information, please contact Mrs. Fritz and she will get the information to you.
1st grade: There is a packet labeled with your child's name to pick up.
2nd grade: Join Mrs. Handy's Facebook group. There are also a math and reading review packets available for pick up.
3rd grade: Math and reading packet available for pick up
Academic Work - Redwater
4th grade: There are math, science, social studies, and reading packets available for pick up.
5th grade: There is a math review packet as well as a science review for pick up. The assignment for reading/history is as follows:
- Read Tuck Everlasting
- Work through packet
- Watch the movie if you can
6th grade: There is a math review packet for pick up. The reading/history assignment is as follows:
- Read Old Yeller
- Work through packet
- Watch the movie if you can
7th grade: There is a math review packet for pick up. In science there are packets available, you will need to pick up your science book in Redwater.
The follow is the assignment for English:
- sign up for and take the novel Hatchet. There is a sign out sheet to write the book number down when you come in.
- Take the introduction page for the novel and pick up a study guide packet.
- You are responsible for reading the novel. The study guides are optional, but is highly suggested as you will be taking a test on the novel when you return. The test will be given on the 4th day of returning to school.
- Go through Montana History packet
- Watch videos about Montana History if you can (ex. Ghost Towns, Mining, Cowboys, Butte, etc.)
Group 7B - We will find a way to finish your pillows when we return to school. Don't worry about the grades. - Mrs. Fritz
8th grade: There is a math review packet to pick up. In science there are packets available, you will need to pick up your science book in Redwater. For English, The Outsiders should be completed; we probably will not have the test on it (we will still watch the movie). The assignment during this break is to read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. There will be a graded end-of -the-book test on April 6. This is not available on Google Classroom, but I have heard it is readily available to read on-line.
The following is your assignment for history:
- Learn all about the presidents during this election year!
- Go through the packet and fill it out
- Continue researching about people from the Holocaust
- Watch movies, documentaries, etc.
Academic Work - High School
Math: There are math packets for each class available for pick up.
Science: There are packets for 9th and 10th graders to pick up. There are also resources and worksheets uploaded to google classroom to access and complete.
PE, Music/Band, and Keyboarding
2nd - 6th Keyboarding: You can keep practicing by visiting www.typing.com. You can also do some coding work by visiting www.hourofcode.com or www.code.org
