Evaluation Summary
This program will focus on Levels 1 and 3 of Kirkpatricks Levels of Evaluation (Hodell, 2011), which focus on the participants' reactions and their behavior changes.
We want to make sure participants enjoyed the training or sensed value in it, we want them to apply the concepts and change their behavior in the workplace or real-life situations.
Additionally, we will use Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences (Wlodkowski & Ginsberg, 2010) to make sure we can reach as many participants as possible.
For 30 days after the course, participants will be encouraged to use the concepts of the course and keep a reflective journal about their experience.
After the 30 day period, participants will meet with the client to complete a final feedback survey focusing on qualitative feedback regarding their experience—they can either provide a summary or provide copies of their reflective journal. The client will then complete the rest of the survey, regarding whether or not they feel the course was valuable to the organization.
The instructional designer and facilitator can then use the results of these surveys to determine whether or not course objectives are satisfied, or if the course needs to be adjusted to learner needs.
