Beasley Weekly Bulletin
Week of 04/11/2016
Hello Beasley Professionals!
I hope that you all felt that our School Improvement Day was effective. It was wonderful to see our staff members working together on our School Effectiveness Framework (SEF). The SEF data will be relevant toward substantiating effective CIWP priorities for 2016-2017. In addition, we hope it will help our school achieve. Thank you for all of your feedback!
Beasley Level 1+
Why should we want to become a Level 1+?
WE can apply to become an Independent School. There are many perks toward being an Independent School. We will not be part of the Network and many of our decisions and directions will be based upon what we decide. Think of the possibilities!!!

Power or Words (7th/8th Girls Assembly)
On Wednesday, April 6 we held an assembly with our 7th/8th grade girls. The purpose of the assembly was to send a powerful message about the power of their words and their actions. We wanted to edify to our girls to not engage in arguments, fights, and unnecessary horseplay. We received positive feedback about the assembly and we will continue to support this endeavor with our girls.
GradeBook Entry
Please make sure to enter your grades by the end of day Friday, April 8. We received word that that there may be maintenance services on the CPS databases this weekend that may prevent you to have access. If you need any assistance with Report Cards or GradeBook Entry please let me know.
REACH Teacher Observations
We will be conducting REACH Observations this week. Our goal is to have 75% of the observations completed by the next two weeks. Please look at your emails for invitations for REACH Pre-Observation Meetings.
A&M Bus Companies
Please do not use A & M Bus Company for upcoming field trips. We have reached our limit for spending with this bus company per Board policy. However, we encourage you to plan field trips in the months of May and June to help us achieve our desired student attendance rate of 97% which is 20% of our SQRP rating.
