SetMyFuture Needs Your Assistance!
Four teens shared the same problem - the inability to find a job, internship or volunteer opportunity. They found that there were a number of others who shared their frustration and through the INCubator program, SetMyFuture was born. It is a central location for businesses to post opportunities where teens and young adults can find them. At Final Pitch Night, they were 1 of 6 teams to present their idea to a Shark Tank-like board and 1 of 3 to receive some funding to continue the dream of making this idea into a reality. They were featured in The Daily Herald and The Kane County Chronicle after receiving the grant at Final Pitch Night.
SetMyFuture will launch a brand-new and more professional looking website in the near future. The student owners of SetMyFuture would appreciate your financial assistance to help them accomplish their goal of helping students reach their potential. To do so, please access our SNAP Fundraiser at: https://www.snap-raise.com/fundraisers/set-my-future-launch-2019
The fundraiser will be live on Tuesday October 22. Thank you for any support you can give.
Conferences
The faculty and staff of St. Charles North High School cordially invite you to participate in Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 25, between 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM. This is an opportunity for you to meet with your child's teachers and other school personnel on an individual basis to discuss their academic performance. We encourage you to attend conferences with your son/daughter.
In order to provide an opportunity for you to meet with all of your child's teachers, you will need to sign up for 10 minute conferences through Home Access Center (HAC) under the "School Links" tab and you will select the "Parent Teacher Conference Scheduler." At that point you will be prompted to enter your e-mail address and select a password. The window to sign up for conferences is now open and will close on Wednesday, November 20, at 7:00 AM.
Should you require a conference longer than 10 minutes, you will need to schedule it on an alternate date. If you do not have access to HAC or are having any difficulty signing up for conferences, please call Tina Zucker at 630.228.4400 for assistance.
