Jamie Traeger-Muney, Ph.D., Founding Partner of Wealth Legacy Group
For almost 20 years, Jamie has worked in depth with individuals, couples, and families. She supports her clients in concretizing their values, developing a vision for their future and then leveraging their wealth towards the fulfillment of their goals. As an innovator in the burgeoning field of wealth psychology Jamie uses genograms to compassionately facilitate the exploration of complex family “truths” (messages that get handed down through generations) and taboo issues related to money.
Jamie has the distinction of being the first psychologist ever to be hired as an employee of a bank, to work with their clients. She worked as a Family Wealth Consultant for Wells Fargo’s Family Wealth Group, a family office platform serving multi-generational families. While at Wells Fargo, Jamie developed programs, which provided the qualitative foundation needed to sustainably support quantitative planning.
Jamie has been married for 20 years and has two children. She believes strongly in a need to give back to her community, offering pro bono expertise to nonprofit agencies and serving on several community boards. Her personal experience as a member of a family business and a family foundation, combined with her theoretical and practical expertise in wealth psychology, has given Jamie sensitivity to issues surrounding the intergenerational family dynamics of affluence.
Emily Bouchard, MSSW, Managing Partner of Wealth Legacy Group
Emily is also proficient in understanding the impact of wealth on individuals and their intimate relationships. Since 2004, Emily has been facilitating communication and trust with ultra-wealthy families worth $25 million or more. She has the unique ability to swiftly and gently address the heart of the matter.
As a Certified Money Coach, Emily uses a step-by-step core process to build awareness for clients about their beliefs and conditioned tendencies related to money and wealth. Through this process, clients break free of life-long patterns and develop the skills they need to be fully conscious and empowered around money. She became managing partner of Wealth Legacy Group in 2010, where she facilitates the Rich Life PortfolioTM, as well as groups for women of wealth and blended families. She also consults with advisors on effectively working with their clients on the qualitative side of planning.
