ALL GRHS STAFF AND STUDENTS MUST BE PROPERLY WEARING A MASK AT ALL TIMES IN THE BUILDING (EXCEPT WHEN SEATED AT LUNCHES).
A Message From Heather Patterson, GRHS Principal
Hello GRHS Longhorns,
I apologize for the lateness this week. I actually spent a little quality time with my own family for my daughter's birthday. Second six weeks....and 1600 back on campus, which means that all our face to face students MUST be following all the social distancing protocols (especially during lunches -ONLY 4 to a table allowed), masking up at all times, wearing ID's, and making good choices by following the student code of conduct that everyone signed off on in the beginning of the year forms. If a student fails to follow these rules and procedures they will face consequences, including being sent home to work virtually the remainder of the six weeks. be sent home. Being face to face for learning is a luxury these days, and we WANT to STAY here, so we need everyone to adhere to the rules and expectations and not take it for granted, so we can keep our sense of normal. Thanks for all your help with keeping us safe and supporting our campus, it is appreciated!
Mr. John Montelongo, Principal of Randle High School, will be at the Ranch on Monday during 6th period to visit with GRHS 9th graders that will be zoned to Randle High School for the 21-22 school year. As part of the opening of Dr. Thomas E Randle High School, they would like to introduce themselves and also speak to them about selecting school colors and a mascot. Due to Social Distancing they will be holding the meeting in the GR auditorium. I have included the flyer and boundary zone map that shows you the new boundary lines that were voted on by the LCISD board. You should be receiving an email letter soon from Mr. Montelongo, if you haven't already! If you have questions regarding any of this please feel free to reach out to him via email john.montelongo@lcisd.org or his Administrative Assistant, Ms. Roxanne Villafranco at rvillafranco@lcisd.org
