Check Your Grades: Grades Have Been Updated!

At each Assignment Due date, grades are updated by the teacher. Zeros are entered for any missing assignments from the student's schedule. Students and parents should view grades and notify the teacher of any issues. Students are encouraged to turn in missing work for partial credit according to GaVS late policy.

You will receive a course update email from me every two weeks, immediately after an Assignment Due Date.

Please read through the newsletter for helpful information.

Students May Submit Late Assignments ... for ONE WEEK only.

After the assignment due date, we accept late work for one week with a reduction in points each successive school day.

GAVS Spring Break: April 7-11

Students are not expected to log in from April 7-11 and no assignments are on the course schedule. Teachers will be answering email but are not required to grade.

If your spring break (at your face to face school) is at a different time, you are still responsible for GAVS due dates. Contact your instructor if you will not be working in the course. Work ahead if necessary so that you can enjoy your break and still get your assignments in on time.

It's that time of year!

We have reached the point in the semester when students and parents start asking about extra credit work that can help bring up a grade. Here's the skinny: If your grade is borderline passing, extra credit could bring it up to passing. If you are doing well in the course, extra credit will help make it even better. If your score is very low, extra credit cannot make up for all the missing work. Please take a look at the opportunities I have offered this semester and the opportunities that are currently available.

Opportunities You May Have Missed
