Study and Revision

This is a busy term for everyone, and the Library is the ideal place to come and do some quiet revision and study.

Remember to be considerate and respectful when using the Library and work quietly!

The Centurion Book Award - Awards Ceremony

The votes are in, and by an overwhelming majority Wonder by RJ Palacio has been voted the winner of the 2013 Centurion Book Award. In second place was Doom Rider by David Gatward and in third White Dolphin by Gill Lewis. With five great books and authors to choose from, competition was tough, but Wonder was deemed to have all the qualities that make a great book: a captivating story-line, well-crafted characters and just a touch of humour. The awards ceremony was held at Hayesfield School on Thursday 18 April where winning author RJ Palacio and runner up David Gatward were presented with their awards by Councillor Rob Abrahams, Chair of Bath and North East Somerset Council.
