Technology Integration Bootcamp
Get Ready to Integrate Technology into Your Classroom with the Four "C"s
Preparing students for College and Career Readiness in the 21st century necessitates teachers to gear their instruction towards the Four "C"s - Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity. The Technology Integration Bootcamp is designed to examine the uses of technology to enhance instruction for students in these critical areas.
- Day 1 will focus on two of the "Four Cs" including Critical Thinking and Problem Solving and Collaboration. We will feature technology tools that enhance "Critical Thinking," "Problem Solving," and "Collaboration," including SMART Technology.
- Day 2 will focus on "Communication" and feature technology tools including Skype, Google Hangouts, and other adaptive social media.
- Day 3, the group will study "Creativity and Innovation," and we will look deeply into the flipped classroom model of instruction and tools that can help with "flipping" your instruction.
- Days 4 and 5 will be offered as "Design Time" for participants to work with the technologies that have been featured during Days 1-3. This will be the time to work on skills that can enhance your teaching methods and integrate the "Four C's" into your daily practice.
