End of the Year Academic Summary

Every school year our school creates a comprehensive school improvement plan (CSIP). Our CSIP helps define our purpose, set goals, create action steps, and provides feedback for our progress towards our goals.

This past year our goals were:

  • Goal #1: Pathfinder Elementary will provide staff professional development in all academic content areas focused on effective instructional planning, utilization of instructional resources, and effective instructional strategies.
  • Goal #2: Pathfinder Elementary will implement a system of support that focuses on the whole child, specifically related to addressing behavior, tiered academic support, and our SST Process.
  • Goal #3: Pathfinder Elementary staff will integrate technology into components of the instructional framework to enhance instruction.

Below you will find a summary of our progress related to each goal.

  • 2019-20: 70%
  • 2020-21: 69%

Number of Students (EOY) reading "Far from target" (at or below the "Gold" Reading Level) at end of year. (We want this percentage to go down, which indicates fewer students needing interventions.)

  • 2019-20: 20.9% SA/A
  • 2020-21: 19.04% SA/A

This year we are asking you to complete the Resource Checklist electronically using this form. This brief questionnaire is your School Social Worker's first and primary way to help you access support services. It also lets us know if you are interested in giving back to your school community.
