What can you make from .........?
How are you getting on with the challenge?
The Sunday Challenge
4 plastic plates.
2 plastic cups.
Two eyes. Four pipe cleaners
One balloon
Stickers are optional.
Nothing less. Nothing more.
You can use a pair of scissors, glue, cellotape and string.
What can you make from these bits and pieces ?
Here's a sneak preview of two of our creations!
But if you are a little stuck this may help.
Don't be restricted by just using a round balloon. Try long ones too.
You can cut the plates and the cups and the pipe cleaners.
Just because it has to have two eyes doesn't necessarily mean it has to be an animal!
Plants and cars and trains and just about anything can have eyes too!
Lastly. We never said which side of the eyes had to be showing. You could stick them on back to front if you choose!
Good luck and see you on Sunday!
Wouid you like to have your model featured on the programme ?

The Sunday Challenge
The topics which generally have an art and craft bias are designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.
The programmes are usually presented by the 'Jumbles' who will immediately capture the interest and imagination of the very young members of the family.
I try to vary the level of the activities so that all ages from pre school to the eights and nines are catered for,
At the end of each programme there is a 'challenge' to get everyone thinking!
This can be a practical activity like the one featured above or it could be an observational challenge or a puzzle or a game.
