Nazareth Christian Fellowship
Offerings for the week of May 6
Extending chaplain chats and worship through the end of May!
I hope that your finals week went as well as possible and that you are able to enjoy some time of rest apart from the need to accomplish school work. We embark on a very strange senior week. The regular festivities have been exchanged for an non-climactic and somewhat sudden end to the year. No graduation ceremony will serve as culmination for this week. It's sad, and strange, and not what we would have chosen. But here we are.
For our seniors, my thoughts and prayers have been with you. I wish that we could all be together celebrating right now and hope that we will get to gather in person to recognize your extraordinary accomplishments over your years at Nazareth.
While it doesn't replace what would have been, there will be a service of gratitude on Friday evening at 7 pm that we are calling "Go Light Your World." It's an opportunity to give thanks for the knowledge gained, the lessons learned, and the relationships formed during your years at Nazareth. There will be student speakers and a final address from Daan Braveman. You should have received the information for how to log in to that virtual event via email. I look forward to seeing you there on Friday evening.
As a reminder: Sunday worship will continue through the end of May, after which we will reevaluate. This Sunday, our speaker will be senior Maura Hamilton. We will also continue to meet on Wednesday afternoons at 2pm for a time to chat followed by Bible Study at 2:30.
I hope to see you this afternoon!
Blessings,
Nadia

upcoming online retreats!
Retreats are great opportunities to find grounding in times of business and uncertainty. These retreat offerings will utilize one-on-one and group Zoom meetings along with short readings to address particular needs. All are welcome to participate in these offerings. No particular religious or spiritual affiliation is necessary. To sign up, please email the facilitator indicated under each description. It is our hope that these retreat offerings help you find grounding and perspective during these challenging days.
Senior Retreat 2020: May 7, 1-3 pm
During times of transitions, it is helpful to take time to think about how you have grown in a greater awareness of yourself and others. This retreat will allow you to reflect on your personal highlights, lessons, and memories of Nazareth. The annual Senior Week Retreat is a time to look back on your years at Nazareth and look ahead with confidence and joy! Facilitated by Nadia Mullin, nmullin7@naz.edu and Jamie Fazio, jfazio1@naz.edu
