Green and Gold Day - Wednesday 9/30

We are not able to support all of our athletes in person at events, due to current restrictions. But we can show our support for all of our fall athletes in school. Wear your Green and Gold and support our Cross Country, Volleyball and Football teams as they continue to compete this week. Share your Comet Pride!

CARE Expectations

Coloma Intermediate's schoolwide expectations for student behavior follow the acronym CARE. It stands for:

  • Come ready to learn
  • Always respectful
  • Responsible
  • Exceptionally safe
Expectations for the hallway, bathrooms, cafeteria, playground, arrival, and dismissal are posted throughout the school. We teach the expectations and review them throughout the school year. Students also earn CARE tickets when they follow the expectations. The office does a ticket drawing where students pick a prize from the CARE Box.

Arrival To School/Student Drop-Off

Students will be allowed into the building at 7:50am each day. Please do not drop your student off early. We will not have supervision. If your child is a car rider, please drop them off in the parking lot across from the CIS building. They will wait for the crossing guard to signal them to cross the street, then they will wait for a staff member to allow them into the building.

Please do not walk your child up to the building. We will have staff to help direct them to their designated locations in the building.

After School

Students must have transportation immediately following dismissal each day. Students will not be allowed to remain in the building after school hours. We will not be holding our After School Program for the 2020-21 school year.

Parking Lot Guidelines

The parking lot can get confusing after school, but if you follow the guidelines, it can go a lot smoother. Please share these guidelines with anyone who will be picking your child up from school.
