Suicide Prevention
September is Suicide Awareness Month
Suicide is the second leading cause of death in 10-24 year olds. EMS ISD is committed to being a competent school community in suicide prevention. As a district, we train our staff to identify students who may be at risk for suicide, refer students to counselors, and work with parents to provide support for students.
This site provides additional information and resources for parents. If you have questions or concerns, please contact your child's school counselor.
