Student Spotlight
Tutoring had gotten off to a great start in 3rd grade. This month we are focusing on multiplication and division, rounding and estimating, and word problems in math. In reading, we have been focusing on character traits and finding the main idea in texts.
Student Spotlight goes to Kyzer from West Oxford Elementary School this month. He has been doing an excellent job of doing two-step word problems and taking his time. Kyzer has been very encouraging to other students who are having a bit of a hard time too.

Ms. Jarri’s favorite part of the day is tutoring, she loves to see how everything that they have learned in tutoring and in-class benefits them in school! Jarri’s favorite part about working at The Boys & Girls Club is watching the youth blossom into young ladies and young men.
