Mrs. Sowe's All-Stars
First Grade
Welcome to First Grade!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Sowe, and I will be your first grade teacher this year at Seguin Elementary. I am so excited that you will be in my class this year! I can't wait to meet you and start our year together.
I know you are going to love first grade. We will have so much fun learning about things like geography, measurement, weather and so much more. We will also read fascinating stories, solve challenging math problems, write stories, and go on field trips. This year you will learn and grow so much!
There is so much more to tell you about first grade, and I can't wait to see you on the first day of school. I look forward to seeing you very soon in our classroom!
About Me
Hi! My name is Nathalie Sowe. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. My first language was Spanish. An interesting fact about me is both of my parents are from Peru. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a bachelor degree in Bilingual Education EC-6. My passion is teaching! My family is very important to me. My husband is also a teacher and coach at the secondary level. We have two handsome boys who keep us busy and we love dearly. In my free time I love attending my husband's games and my oldest son soccer games.
My favorite quote:
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela
