Get Started
Have an idea for a lesson or project that you would like to incorporate technology in, but not sure where to start? Schedule a time with me that is convenient for you and we'll work together to come up with innovative and engaging ways for you and/or your students integrate technology.
Resource(s) Overview
If you've seen a resource that interests you, maybe at a training, through a 2 Minute Tech Tip, or from a colleague, and you want to know more about it, get in touch. Depending on the service, I could get you up and running in as little as 15 minutes.
EdTech Coach Q & A
Administrators and coordinators, set up a time for me to be on hand at your meeting, or just in a designated spot in your school to help with any questions or edtech issues your teachers might have. It could be half an hour, or half a day, whatever you and your staff need.
First Time Help & Modeling
Schedule me to come into your classroom and work directly with your students to model a specific piece of technology that you might not be 100% comfortable yet. For example, if you would like to get your kids using Google, I can come in and help them all get logged in, take a tour of the Google Apps for Education services, and learn the basics of sharing in Drive.
Sit Down & Fill Up
Go in depth on a resource or suite of tools that you would like to integrate in your teaching. We will work together to set goals for what you will be able to do with your students, and we will continue working together until these goals are met. A session like this could be a single block of time, or could be ongoing, depending the resource and your comfort level.
Team Teaching
If you have a tech-rich lesson or project, and you would like my direct assistance in instruction, get in touch. We can work through the planning, implementation, and reflection phases together.
Formal Workshops
Administrators and coordinators, schedule me to put on an old-school workshop for your staff.
Flipped PD
Participants will be given a couple of things to do in advance of the workshop in preparation, usually including a short video. Then the face-to-face session can be more focused on hands-on practice and assistance.
Make Your Own
Don't see the kind of help you would like described here? That's ok, get in touch with me and we will work it out.
Room for More
Schedule some time with me after we've worked together to talk about how the project went and next steps.
Share Your Successes
Have you and/or your students done something cool with technology? Share it with me so we can get it out there.
Peer Collaboration
If you would like to work with others in the district on a particular resource, type of project, etc., let me know and I'll help put you together with others with similar interests.
Hit Refresh
Been awhile since you used a particular piece of technology? Want a refresher, or to see if anything has changed since you used it last? Let me know, and we can schedule some time to look it over.
How to Keep Up
We all know that the world of edtech changes quickly. If you're feeling overwhelmed and would like to know how to keep up with the latest tools and trends, let me know. I can come to you and show you how to use social media tools like Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest to stay in the loop.
Substitutions are welcome.
