Great Kindness Challenge - Day 5
Kindness Matters at Rockbrook | 1/31/20
Rockbrook 2020 Great Kindness Challenge
As our Great Kindness Challenge Week Comes to a close, remember that the end of this week is just the beginning of the opportunities to show kindness. At school, at home, and in our community, we hope that this focused week has helped students to see and feel what a positive difference showing kindness has. Way to go Rockbrook! Thank you to all the students, teachers, and families who took the challange and made our school better for it! We'll be excited to share our "Kindness Count" in next week's newsletter!

Kindness Crane
Hand delivered with a kind note tucked in side. A Kindness Crane lifted spirits and made a thankful teacher's day that much better!
Get Well Soon!
Cold and flu season is here, but kind words from a friend missing her classmates will hopefully help speed their recovery.
Filling Buckets with Kindness
How full is your bucket? The acts we do each day help fill someone's bucket or empty it out. When we show kindness our buckets fill to the brim, both their buckets and our own!
Thank You
When someone shows kindness to us, we can return it by simply saying "Thank You." Thank you to the many students who made this a special week at Rockbrook!
Spending Time With Friends
Our company can be an especially kind act. Enjoying time with a friend is a great way to show kindness.
Helping Others
A special "Thank You!" to Ms. Seward who shows kindness and care when students are hurt or not feeling well.
Kindergarten Class Kindness Goal
This is pretty cool! We set a classroom goal of doing 100 random acts of kindness by the end of the week. We were so excited to realize we surpassed our goal by filling in the whole chart in ONE day! One heart was colored in for every act of kindness. We talked about how practicing being kind is the same thing as practicing anything else: the more you do it, the better you become.
