Resistant Bacteria
How will it stop?
How did it start?
As the farmers give antibiotics to their animals, and we eat the meat, the resistant bacteria is transferred to humans through the meat that has the antibiotic resistant bacteria. The spread can be stopped by keeping our animals away from antibiotics. If this doesn't stop, we can lead to our bodies becoming so resistant to antibiotics, we could die from a simple cut because it got infected.
How can this be prevented?
First, farmers must stop giving their animals antibiotics. One way you can help is by buying meat that comes from animals that haven't been given antibiotics. Another way is taking the prescription drug that the doctor gives you on time, and not saving it for later times. Do not use antibiotics for a simple cold or runny nose, or anything that antibiotics are not necessary for.
