December Author Study
I am excited to share our classroom plans as we study Roald Dahl and his contribution to children's literature this month. We will take the opportunity to research Mr. Dahl, his life, and his works throughout the entire month. Here are a few things I have planned:
We will read Esio Triot as a class.
We will practice fluency with a reader's theater script from The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Each student will be reading a Dahl novel during lit circle this month. The novels chosen are The BFG, The Witches, and The Twits.
We will wrap up our study with a celebration and movie on December 22.
