M3 Post Assessment and Honors Assignment
Today you will complete the post assessment for Module 3 and complete the Honors Assignment. Please be aware that the NCVPS Academic Integrity Policy must be maintained. You learned about this policy in the Getting Started Module and I have also linked it here.
Please be sure to review the quizlet BEFORE attempting the quiz. I am linking it below.
In the Honors Assignment you will take a stance on whether or not you support or do not support Imperialism. Make sure to read the instructions carefully before submitting to be sure you have all of the required components.
M4 Introduction and Assignments 1 and 2
During the early parts of the 20th century, countries in Europe were building up their armies and stockpiling huge supplies of weaponry. Coupled with their proud histories and the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Europe burst into war. Although the United States declared to stay neutral, the U.S. officially joined in 1917. In this module, you will learn about The Great War and the social effects it had on citizens in the U.S.

For Assignment 1 you will create an forum post and respond to the posts of two classmates. This post will focus on the main causes of WWI. To help set the stage for this time period, I have linked the original post of the obituary of Archduke Ferdinand and his wife. This assassination in Austria was the spark that set the world on the path to war.
For Assignment 2 you will be examining the impact of the ZImmermann Telegram. I have linked an article and a cute ToonDoo below to give you an idea of why this telegram was so significant,
Good luck and as always, contact me with any questions.
