Holiday Breakfast! by Emma
Enfield Elementary School invites you to a free holiday breakfast with eggs and bagels and more food. It will be held from 8am to 10:30 am on Friday, December 23rd. Students will be caroling and the band will be playing Jingle Bells. There will be stories out on the tables that students in all of the grades have written.
Mr. A, the PE teacher puts lights up all around the gym and the teachers decorate it so it looks really pretty for the breakfast. All of the teachers cook and serve the breakfast. If you want to donate some food for the breakfast, send it in to school. Fourth grade makes kuchen bread which is really delicious. Hope you come to the holiday breakfast this year!
The Enfield Girls Basketball Team By Madison
The Enfield girls basketball team is fun but hard. You have to have to have a lot of effort and not get mad when Coach Jamie or Coach Kyle tells you to do something and you don’t want to do it. Basketball in my opinion is a good sport to have at Enfield school. The thing we do the most is layups and dribbling, I’m pretty sure that that's what we are going to do for the rest of December. I like basketball myself. It is pretty fun and Coach Kyle and Coach Jamie are really funny, but they work us hard too. Practice is on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I love playing basketball maybe if you try it you might like it to!

A Book Review by Amelia
Clementine
The book Clementine, by Sara Pennypacker is a good book. The book Clementine is fiction. I have read it before and I like it. You should read the book. The words are not too hard or not too easy for me but it might be a little too hard or a little too easy for you. It was perfect for me and I loved it.A Poem - Deep Blue Sky by Sophia and Amelia- 4th graders
The deep blue sky is in your eyes.
I can see your face every day.
Everyone says we are next to each other on the steps to the next step and the next day.
For me is what happens is what I will be for you.
You were everything I had.
I like you from night to day.
I love you
I see you
I care for you no matter what.
What I do is for you
if you can't see that then Bye.

Friend, a poem by Olivia
There once was a warm hearted friend,
She was kind and ready to lend,
Her heart was so sweet,
Her love couldn’t be beat
But her body wouldn’t ever mend
