Swartz Creek Community Schools is hosting the #COLchat parent camp on April 18, 2015 from 9:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. for parents in Genesee County and beyond at no cost.
Parents will learn about common core state standards, technology integration, next generation online assessments, reading and math help, internet safety, and other related topics in education.
The parent camp concept is an open forum where parents can decide what they learn that day.
#COLchat is a twitter chat on Monday's 9-10 p.m. EST and connects people from all over the world to discuss topics on building a culture of learning within the school community.
