Description of Tundra
The tundra is a large treeless area in the Arctic region. The surface of the soil is all frozen.
There is two types of tundras, there is an Arctic tundra and Alpine tundra.

- Limitation of drainage
- Short season of growth and reproduction
- Energy and nutrients in the form of dead organic material
- Large population oscillations
