Dental Sealants
Parents, teachers, and students at Hood River Middle School! We are excited about the upcoming FREE school-based dental sealant program taking place this school year. Parents save time in your busy schedules and sign your child up for this FREE program held during school hours at HRMS. Dental sealants on molars are proven to help prevent tooth decay by 80%! Helping to keep students in class learning and their smiles healthy for a lifetime.
HRMS students and parents if you missed us at school registration, please take this time to complete your form digitally this year with our QR permission form code! Permission forms are also available at the HRMS front office. Please return those permission slips to the school indicating “yes” or “no” as soon as possible! One Community Health will be at HRMS school soon!

Robotics
Dear HRMS Students and Parents,
I'm David Scharfenberg, the STEM and Robotics teacher here at our school. I want to welcome you to our version of Robotics. We will be competing in teams this season, and we are looking for both students and parents to participate. Did you know that coding and robotics are two of the fastest growing career opportunities around the world? What a great way to see if this might be your future job!
Students, we need you to sign up where you can excel at coding, building, and researching and developing the systems to make your robot competitive. Parents, we can only sponsor as many teams as we have coaches. Ideally, we need at least two parents per team of 4-6 students. Your responsibilities are to facilitate your team, helping guide them to the resources they need to understand how to do their tasks.
I am here to help parents be successful so students can be successful in their teams. I can help adults out so they know what to do. My job is to help you!
If you are interested, please fill out the Google Form linked below. I have also added a QR code that you can scan with your phone's camera to access the form. Thanks! I look forward to a great robotics season with you!

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or words of praise for the people or programs of Hood River Middle School. Thank you and have a great day.
