TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is May 3-7th, 2021. This year the PTO has a week of fun planned for our BG Teachers and Staff! Please keep your eyes out around the school as well as be on the lookout for an email from your head room parent with more specifics. We are excited to show our BG staff some love and hope you are too!

WALK/BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY - May 7th

BG PTO would like to encourage all Bobcats to walk or bike to school and home on May 7th! This will cap off our Teacher Appreciation week. So wear your Friday Spirit Wear, grab your bike or walking shoes, and hope for warm dry weather! Get out there and be healthy! The PTO is sponsoring this event (not the BG Wellness Council) and will have a fun scavenger hunt for all walkers/bikers with a reward for completion after school. Please stay tuned next week for more details.

PTO DUES

Current student registration is underway! Please remember to pay your PTO dues when registering your student. In order to get access to the BG Directory Spot, you need to pay your PTO dues for the 2021-2022 school year.

Join the Orchestra!

Orchestra is FUN! All current 2nd and 3rd grade students are eligible to join the Orchestra next school year. The study of music is much more than simply learning to play an instrument. Music benefits young people in many areas of their lives. Communication and social skills are strengthened, and creative and analytical skills are nurtured. Learning to play an instrument and participating in an ensemble are valuable experiences for all students.

The instruments of the Orchestra are the violin, viola, cello, and string bass. For more information, please review the D303 Orchestra Website. Please attend one of our Orchestra Townhall information meetings on May 13 or 18 at 7:00pm. Questions? Contact our Orchestra teacher: Christopher Pettit at christopher.pettit@d303.org
