Twin Peaks Middle School
Weekly RAM Newsletter
A Brief Note from Dr. Burke
Dear RAM families,
I wanted to update you on the disaster drill we had this week. Overall, it was a well-run drill and taken very seriously by staff and students. Law enforcement was on hand to critique the process and provide us feedback. School Resource Officer Marshall Abbott shared, "It is nice to see your staff taking these drills seriously, because the safety of our schools is of the utmost importance, which will prepare them for when something really happens. Thank you!”
There is a lot going on this week. Please take the time to read this entire newsletter for all the details including elective options and spirit week activities.
I will close with a reminder that Tuesday and Wednesday are minimum days this week, as our staff will be engaging in professional learning activities. Students will be dismissed at 12:40pm. Our ASES program will be open as usual. Please plan for extra traffic on Tuesday afternoon, as Tierra Bonita dismisses at 12:25pm.
That's it for now. We look forward to seeing all our students tomorrow, and remember, it's a 2/4/6 day.
Sincerely,
Dr. Burke
