Is salt as bad as they make it up to be?
Salt is not as bad as they have been saying
New studies show that you should contain about 2,645 to 4,945 MG of salt every day. If you are in the healthy range you can have more salt then less, because your cells need salt to funtion. Salts help your cells keep fluids moving and flowing smoothly. Not enough slat is bad for your body. Before this new study came out docters and health experts said that the less salt you intake the better off you were. They would say about 1500 MG of salt a day, or even less then that. But the new studdies show that you can intake more salt than they say, you can in take as much as you want in a day as long as its not an extream amount. And as long as you are healthy and you work out, to stay in shape and healthy.

If you have high Cholesterol, diabetis, or you are African American you should not consume as much salt as a healthy person because it can cause problems like heart attacks, or strokes.
