We are looking forward to next year with the 7th graders and wish all of the 8th graders best of luck at the high school!

Our girls soccer team lost a hard fought battle in our annual Log/Klinger matchup. The girls led a tough Klinger team 1-0 through most of the first half. Klinger came back from behind with two unanswered goals, ending the matchup with a 2-1 victory over Log. Though the girls lost, Coach Hontz met with the 8th grade girls on both teams together and talked about their bright futures on Tennent's team and how their rivalry will soon turn into friendships. Congratulations on a great season!

Scheduling Update

As we wrap up the school year, Mr. Drago will begin the process of creating the master schedule for the building for the 2019-2020 school year, and, by extension, each student's schedule. This is a very complex and involved process and will take the majority of the summer to complete. Student schedules will go live in Skyward sometime around the second week of August (the district will send out an eAlert with an exact date at some point this summer). Every effort is made to get each child their first or second choice of expo classes during the process, and that is usually able to be accommodated. While every effort is made to make sure all schedules are error free prior to them going live, there are inevitably occasional errors. There is no need to worry about that, one we are made aware of the errors, we can generally get them corrected very quickly. If you have specific questions this summer, please contact Mr. Drago at 215-441-6075 x14002.

From The School Nurse

Reminder: Students may not carry any medications including over the counter at any time. The only exception is an epi pen or inhaler with doctors orders stating they have permission to carry. All medication taken during school hours must be dispensed by the school nurse. For further information, please see Centennial School District Policy 210-USE OF MEDICATIONS.

All students in Grade 6 need a physical examination, this should include the required immunzations for 7th grade (Tdap & Meningococcal). The physical examination form needs to be completed by your child’s doctor and returned to the school nurse.

Students in Grade 7 need a dental examination. The dental examination form needs to be completed by your child’s dentist and returned to the school nurse.

Form are available on our website or in the nurse's office.

Our school doctor will be here the end of May/early June. If you are interested in having your child seen, please contact the school nurse by May 1st. This visit does not include the immunizations that are required for entrance into 7th grade. Similarly, our school dentist is coming the end of May/early June. If you are interested in having your child screened please contact the school nurse by May 1st.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the school nurse at 215-441-6075 x14025

Thank you for your ongoing support, as we strive to keep the children of LCMS safe and healthy!
