Elm Class Update
New York News Compass
Class Map of Compass
The Elm Class collaborated to create a map of the school. We will use this map as a tool to guide students from the Middle School around the school.
Guided Reading
We started to meet in our small guided reading groups and sharing texts together.
In their guided reading groups, students work on specific reading skills at their individual level.
Quiet Time
Each day, we relax after lunch during quiet time. This is a time for students to relax and recharge before our afternoon.
Snack
We enjoy our snack each day.
Compass can use your help preparing our snack each day. Please help us by signing up as a snack helper at Compass- http://vols.pt/LGgGrd

Winter Weather is here
Compass believes it is important that children spend time outdoors each day, even in cold weather. We stay in when conditions are dangerous (such as slippery ice).
Please send your child to school with warm layers so they can enjoy recess and classwork outdoors.
