Second Six Weeks Parent Newsletter

PJHS Mission Statement

PJHS Mission statement: Dedicated to growing students academically and socially to be productive and responsible members of the community

Note from the Principal- Jennifer Garcia

Dear Parents,

The beginning of the third six weeks is upon us. We will be distributing report cards to students to take home on Friday, December 11. This report card will determine eligibility for our students who compete in Athletics and UIL Band contests. Students who are ineligible can gain back eligibility with their third six weeks progress report that will be sent home January 15.

We cherish our students and their families. Please stay safe and please contact us if you or your child need assistance. If we can't help you, we will direct you to someone who can.

Parent Responsibilities for Student Success

We ask that parents assist in our students' and staff's safety by:

1) ensuring your child brings their mask daily

2) monitor your child for fever daily before sending them to school

3) reinforce social distancing and mask usage.

4) remind your child to bring their Chromebook fully charged each day

5) if distance learning, double-check your child's Google Classrooms for assignment completion

6) monitor your child's grades and attendance through the Parent Portal

"Thanks" to our Varsity Volleyball players who donated school supplies as part of their community service outreach
