Principal's News
Whoa, what a start to the year! I am not sure how your family is feeling but Easter cannot come quick enough in my household.
Upon reflection, I think that I started this year with some 'romantic notion' that the pandemic days had gone and we would be back to our 'known' and 'comfortable' ways. But alas, I think that we have lived the entire opposite!
Our students and staff have been amazing this term! With uncertainty around attendances and illness, isolations and what activities we can and can't do, every member of our community has worked together and supported one another. We have had excursions begin again, sports carnivals and visiting artists, and this week, two amazingly successful school camps!
In times of such uncertainty and with so many of us feeling the fatigue of the last two years, I cannot but feel humble and thankful. A little like the journey of Jesus through Holy Week. There has been hurt, challenges and times of trial for so many. But underneath that all, a community covered in God's love and forgiveness, God's grace and unending love.
During this Easter season, may your family find time to give thanks for God's ultimate gift. May you have the chance to relax and recharge and to prepare for the terms ahead. May you time to find the things in your life that bring you joy and hand your burdens to Jesus.
We look forward to Term 2 and the fun that we know lays for us in the learning and life of our College.
He Is Risen!

Jesus Is Alive!
After the Sabbath, early in the morning, on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and another Mary went to view the tomb where Jesus had been buried. Suddenly, a strong earthquake shook because an angel came down from heaven. The angel rolled back the heavy stone from the entrance of the tomb. The angel, who looked like lightning and was wearing a robe of purest white, sat on the stone. The guards standing at the tomb were so afraid that they were like dead men and could not even move! The angel told the women not to be afraid. He knew they were looking for Jesus. The angel told them the best news ever. He said that Jesus was alive, just as He had promised. The angel told the women to go quickly to the disciples to tell them the good news. “Tell them Jesus has been raised from the dead!”
The women left quickly and joyfully. They ran to tell the disciples the good news that Jesus was alive. Suddenly, Jesus met the women and said, “Good morning!” The women ran to Him, took hold of His feet, and worshiped Him! Then Jesus told them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brothers to go to Galilee. They will see Me there!”
Do you like surprises? One year for my birthday, my parents left me at my grandparent’s house to mow their lawn. I was disappointed and thought they had forgotten my birthday! When I went back home, there was a surprise party waiting for me. My parents had a plan the entire time to give me an amazing birthday.
When the women arrived at the tomb, they were surprised to find it empty. God had a plan the entire time for Jesus to defeat death so that we can forever have a relationship with Him. Jesus died on the cross and is alive.
Dear God, Thank You so much for sending Your Son to save us from our sin by dying on the cross and rising again. In Your name we pray, Amen.

COVID-19 Update
This week we have been advised by the Victorian Government that they have made changes to the testing and isolation requirements for those in our community who have tested positive for COVID-19. Below is an exert of this update:
Students and staff who have tested positive for COVID-19, and have completed their 7-day isolation period, now do not need to undertake rapid antigen test (RAT) screening for 8 weeks after their release from isolation. This was previously 30 days.
In addition, if a staff member or student has recovered from COVID-19, they aren’t required to get tested or isolate/quarantine if re-exposed to a case within 8 weeks of ending their isolation period. This period was previously 30 days.
After 8 weeks, they must follow the relevant advice depending on the type of contact they are.
We thank our families for continuing to support us in the COVID requirements of schools.
We have not had offical news of any government supported RA Testing program for next term. At this point in time we have received a delivery of one more RA kit per student and have sent those home late this week. As soon as the College receives any information about a recommended program for Term 2 we will share with our families.
We know that this term has been difficult for so many, with positive cases and many families in isolation. We thank you for your partnership with us as we all work together to try and manage these current times.
Building Update
Our Builders are on track to handover the fully refurbished Courtyard Area for the new term. We are very excited to be able to utilise this much missed area and can't wait for the new look.
The Building Program continues with our Year 5/6, Science Block (Hattah) currently undergoing plastering and internal fit outs. This building is scheduled to be finished by the beginning of June with the furniture order singed off for this week.
We know that a building program of this scale brings disruption and we cannot thank our students and staff enough for their patience. We know the finished product will be worth it!
2023 Prep Enrolments
Trinity is seeing an influx in demand and we would like to make sure that our current families are able to attend. Now is the time to complete your Application for Enrolment. Applications can be completed online or call to speak to Pasqualina Pascale for additional enrolment information.
Congratulations!
