History
Alexander Graham Bell-the inventor to the telephone
Bell came to invent this great object by experimenting with an electrical current to transmit sound.
This was a very important invention because it made life easier. It allowed people to send and receive messages twice as fast as mail itself.
January 28, 1878 21 customers had a phone. Today millions of people have one and use it to surf the internet for information, send text messages and e-mail.
The next time you use your phone you can thank Alexander for the invention of our so called "life line"
