Study Abroad
Passport Destination: Service and Internship Opportunities Abroad
This session will be mainly informational about internships and service learning abroad through a unique program, International Studies Abroad (ISA). The purpose is to show students that there are opportunities to go abroad and experience volunteering or working, in addition to taking classes.
Kellie Johnson, a current CNU student, has been abroad and will provide a synopsis of her experiences and the opportunities she had in internships and service abroad. This destination will help students see the different opportunities there are abroad in addition to taking classes. It will show students that they are able to go abroad and experience a different culture by giving to the community and diving into the culture of that location. Going abroad can expand a person's thinking about the world as a whole which will help develop leadership skills.
