News From the Principals
It is an exciting time at Eisenhower! This week our Phase 2 will open up and the fourth graders will be moving into their classrooms. This also means that third grade will transition to the “staging” area while their rooms are being built. Later in March we have a guest author and our first Family Literacy Night! Please watch for more information to come!
Next week we have parent teacher conferences, so be sure to schedule a time with your child(ren)’s teacher(s) in the upcoming week.

March 1st – End of the Year Math Benchmark begins
March 1st – March 4th – Read Across America Week (dress up days to celebrate)
March 8th – Music Program for 1st grade (7:00 PM in the gym)
March 10th – Parent Teacher conferences (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
March 11th – No School - Parent Teacher conferences (8:00 AM- 12:00 PM)
March 14th – March 18th – Spring Break
March 24th – Family Literacy Night (5:30PM – 7:30 PM)
March 25th – Author Visit for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
News From the Library
The first week of March is Read Across America week! We will be celebrating reading with new books, prizes, and dress-up days all week long! A note sent home in Thursday folders has more information. 1st grade will finish up their folktales research and Kindergarten will visit the library before Parent-Teacher conferences.
After Spring Break, things really get busy! Thursday, March 24th is Family Literacy Night. Join us for food, games, and free books for all Ike families! More information will be coming soon. Along with library lessons, we will have Leisl Shurtliff, author of the Sequoyah book Rump for a visit all day Friday, March 25th
