PARENT INFORMATION
Monticello Middle School is excited to share that we will be using Peachjar with more regularity during the 2019-20 school year.
Peachjar is a digital flyer distribution company that Monticello Community Education started using during the 2019-20 school year. While it will not directly replace any communication that the school is already doing, it will provide another opportunity for us to reach our families with important information about events and opportunities in our building.
Peachjar sends digital flyers directly to parents who see them as visually engaging images right on their smartphone or computer screen. Additionally, all flyers will be posted to each school’s website. Parents will be able to click to register their children for youth sports, enrichment programs, and community events, as well as follow links to learn more about some of the great things happening in our building during the school year.
It is our belief that the use of Peachjar will help us to strengthen our community bond and increase parent and community engagement and participation at our building and across the district. We look forward to taking advantage of this new platform and opportunity during the 2019-20 school year!
You will see the link below at the bottom of each newsletter.

NOTES FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE
Did you know a single JUUL e-cigarette contains as much nicotine as smoking a full pack of 20 cigarettes?
Please take time to read the link below from the MN Department of Health on the rising concern of our youth & smoking electronic cigarettes. This is a national health issue. Minnesota is drafting legislation to keep our kids safe from the significant lung damage the devices can cause.
