ENJOY ALL THE THINGS FOR WHICH YOU ARE THANKFUL
It should be easy to be thankful - we have so much to be thankful for on a daily basis; yet sometimes, I think we believe we have to be thankful for 'something big'! This can lead us to overlook the many small blessings we have in our lives.
Each day we awaken to tackle a new day is a blessing.....the fact we have a roof over our head and a Warrior family that love us are more reason to be grateful. Living in a free country is worth more than we will ever realize. The sloppy lick from your favorite four-legged friend or the smell of your favorite candle can make you smile. A smile received from a passing stranger or a door held open means we are the lucky recipient of kindness - definitely things to be thankful for.
As you spend these next nine days away from school, please take the time to slow down and notice all the people, things and moments by which you are blessed.
~Happy Thanksgiving

CHECK PRESENTATIONS
I am proud to live and work in a community in which there is such a great spirit of cooperation and collaboration to serve the students and take care of the whole family when needed.
As you may or may not be aware, BISD has partnered with several organizations that provide services to our students in order to help their cause – which in turn benefits the District. This year, gate collections for the Senior Night Volleyball game on October 19th and the Senior Night Football game on November 5th were donated to two different entities.
In total $3,105 was raised and was split between the Fannin County Children’s Center and the Fannin County Ministerial Alliance.
· Sandy Barber - $1,653 will complete payment toward the ‘Warrior Room’ in the new Children’s Center building.
· Dana Coker - $1,452 to replenish the Warrior Care Fund used to help BISD students/families in need during the times they need it the most.
