Dancin' Dragons

Creative Kids Art Class Ages 5-7
Colorful, chaotic, and without constraint! This is a
beginning painting class for the very young child. Jill will tell the class a story to inspire their imagination and guide them to express their response through paint. Projects will be finished and ready for proud parent refrigerator display by the end of class.

Explore texture, color, line and shape using mixed
media. During this one day workshop children will create a masterpiece working step by step with Jill. Being fit and healthy helps us all feel good about
ourselves! This group fitness class is fun, friendly and educational! Fit Camp also provides motivation, group accountability and is designed to include almost all fitness levels! This course is designed for individuals needing
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and foreign body airway obstruction (choking) certification for victims of all ages, including adult, child and infant. The use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED/"shocker") is included. This AHA certification is valid for two years and is available for healthcare provider certification.
(Minimum age for certification is 11 years old. ) Participants will need to pick up class materials at Community Education and read them prior to class.

Wool, Water & Wet-Felting
Learn the fascinating art of 3-D seamless wet felting. Using wool and other natural fibers, felt a small bowl, vase or bin to hold trinkets, chocolates or to display proudly in any room of your house. Choose a neutral palate and add embellishments for a pop of color, then sculpt it into any shape from organic to contemporary. It can even be reversible.
A $25 materials fee is due to the instructor the day of class. (Includes all fiber and supplies.)
Bring from home: 2-3 hand towels, a bath towel, rubber gloves, sharp scissors and a plastic bag to carry home wet items. Apron optional. We will take a half hour break for lunch, pack your own.

Powder Ridge Snow Tubing (Gr. 2+)
Snow tubing requires no special skill or equipment, only warm clothes and a desire to have fun. They supply the tubes and you supply the laughing, sliding, screaming and smiling. The Powder Ridge tuber mover is a conveyor system that you stand on with your tube and enjoy a leisurely ride to the top of the hill. All participants will need to bring a bag lunch to eat at the hill following tubing.
