Teacher Appreciation

May 2-6 is Teacher Appreciation week. We would like to start the week by showing our appreciation with Donuts, Juice and Coffee in the workroom by the office.

And don't forget to check your box every day for a surprise.

Chick-fil-A Loves Teachers

The CFA in McKinney off of Central and 380 is offering a free chicken sandwich from 11:00 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday in honor of teacher appreciation week. Just present your badge to get your sandwich.

In case you haven't heard

Don't forget you can wear jeans and a MHS spirit shirt all week in honor of teacher appreciation and testing week.


Don't forget AP and EOC testing begin this week. Check your emails for up to date information. AP information will come from Mr. Wales and EOC from Ms. Rose.

Bond Election Update

Early voting ends on Tuesday, May 3rd. Extended poll hours are on Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Please see the link below for poll locations.

MHS Choir Porch Concert with In-N-Out Burger

Join us for a highly anticipated annual event in the former outside Porch area now known as the Commons. Porch Concert is May 17 at 7:00 p.m., pre-show at 6:30. Bring your lawn chairs or sit on the Socratic Stairs. The In-N-Out Burger Cookout Trailer will be here from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. with $5 burgers, chips and drink. Tickets for In-N-Out are PRE-SALE ONLY. Proceeds benefit the MHS Choir Booster Club. Order form for meal tickets due by May 12.

Our very own Sai Sai Ding, was recently honored by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra as the winner of the prestigious FWSO Young Artist competition.

  • Please help on the student traffic in the hallway. Make sure your students have a blue or yellow hallway pass. If you need a replacement, see Ms. Cope.
  • If you see students congregating around the flex spaces during lunches, help us clear those areas out.
