Google Keep-- my favorite tool!
I really love Google Keep. It's everything that people liked about the program "Stickies", or in my case, actual Post-it notes, plus so much more. I like it because I can use it on many platforms (as an extension, as an app on my computer, as an iOS app on my phone and iPad), and it's always there for me since it's web based. I also like that I can collaborate with others, sharing a note, and that note can immediately be converted to a Google Doc. At last Wednesday's Googlepalooza, I shared this presentation, plus a link to download the Keep app. Let me know if you would like to talk about how this tool can streamline your workflow!
Appreciate Teachers? Listen to the stories!
Google sponsored a phenomenal project to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, collecting short vignettes from educators awarded as Teacher of the Year for their respective state/district. These short videos are inspiring, and you can just run the playlist (even audio only) at any time. Check them out... such a cool project!
Want to make pretty graphics? Use Canva!
I'm terrible at picking colors and designs; Canva helps me create my OWN graphics, free to use, and it's really easy (drag and drop). Check them out!
New Gmail changes!
Gmail is updating... for both personal and school use. Check out the new options that it's offering, such as "snoozing" an email, built in reminders, and integration with many supporting apps. I'm trying to push myself to try the new format now, rather than at the start of a new school year! If you happen to have a personal Gmail account as well, you can also utilize these changes there too!
Want to set up a coaching meeting?
I'd love to meet with you and set up regular coaching meetings, work on projects, etc. Click the button, and let's get scheduled!
